Jeremiah Week 1 Day 1.
The LORD calls Jeremiah to deliver His message to Judah. Jeremiah says he is too young to be used of God. What are our excuses? Discussion of the prophetic Word. A video about the high places of Baal worship in Canaan as viewed through the Bible and how secular man views these evil places. The Lord God despises murderous Baal worship, but Judah embraced Baal and other false gods through King Manasseh and other kings leading to the fall of Jerusalem in 586 B.C.

Ready

Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Robe

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Mysteries

And He said, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God but to the rest it is given in parables, that ‘Seeing they may not see,And hearing they may not understand.’

Name

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Dayspring

Through the tender mercy of our God, With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us; To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.

Introduction to Jeremiah. A study of the idol worship embraced by the Northern Kingdom and later Judah which led to invasions by Assyria and Babylon. This study helps to expose the idol worship and paganism in our country and this world in 2024 and the ramifications of embracing the ways of this world. Turning away from the LORD is a deadly path. Be ye separate, says the Lord.

Kingdom

Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
