Week 3 Day 1 of our studies in Jeremiah. Are we listening to the Lord God? There are many voices filling our air space. These voices of men are coming from every direction. Choosing to listen to God is wise.

Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord-that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

James chapter 5 verse 11

Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:

Hebrews chapter 12 verse 14

So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?” And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before hand that we should walk in them.

Ephesians chapter 2 verse 10

Do they not go astray who devise evil? But mercy and truth  belong to those who devise good.

Proverbs chapter 14 verse 22

Then he answered This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, But by My Spirit says the Lord of hosts.

Zechariah chapter 4 verse 6.

bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

Colossians chapter 3 verse 13

Week 2 Day 5 in studies of Jeremiah. There are counterfeit gods and plenty of them. What is really harmful is a counterfeit view of the Loving, Living, Almighty God. Our Lord is a patient, giving, loving God. We owe Him all of our respect and love.

Whoever heeds life-giving correction will be at home among the wise.

Proverbs chapter 15 verse 31.
