Psalm 25 verses 4 and 5
Week 2 Day 3 in Jeremiah. Consequences of chasing idols, the counterfeit substitution for Almighty God. There is no substitute. Religion is not a substitute. Walking away from the Lord? The outcome of chasing after the worthless things of this realm? Loss! Peace. Joy. Contentment. Loss! The Father loves us and will not allow us to stray. He will correct His children and the correction may be severe. Put away the idols.
Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.
